I liked the chiaroscuro light and dark boldness and the mood it creates. I was happy with the facial structure and shading, but if you full view it you can see many poorly executed details. I spent hours on the freakin eyes and nothing good came of it. I thought about throwing a gaussian blur on the whole thing to hide the details and then say I smudged it. But that would be cheating.
Hey, you're right. You never see those people. And it's pretty rare to see merry and pippin and faramir also. There are enough pictures of arwen to last the world a life time. I salute you and your Grima picture - it's really good!
yep, those people never got enough attention-especially Eomer*swoons* erm, anyway, great potrait of the snake! looks just like him to me! and the lighting does add really neat effects.
